For Sydney financial services firms, NSW Government suppliers and growing businesses: cloud migration in the AWS and Azure Sydney regions, Essential Eight and APRA CPS 230/234 readiness, and senior engineering teams.
In short: Sydney is Australia's financial services capital and home to the NSW Government, so most of our Sydney work comes with compliance attached: APRA CPS 230 (in force since 1 July 2025) and CPS 234 for banks, insurers and super funds; the NSW Cyber Security Policy for agencies and their suppliers; and the Commonwealth Notifiable Data Breaches scheme for everyone else. We design cloud, security and delivery around those obligations from day one.
Since 1 July 2025, APRA-regulated entities must keep a register of material service providers. Providers of core technology services count as material unless the entity can justify otherwise.
Information security capability, controls and testing proportionate to threats, including over information assets managed by third parties.
NSW agencies must implement the Essential Eight at Maturity Level 1 or higher (Mandatory Requirements 3.3–3.10) and report to Cyber Security NSW by 31 October each year.
Since 28 November 2023, NSW public sector agencies, councils and universities must notify the Privacy Commissioner and affected people of eligible data breaches.
Private businesses covered by the Privacy Act 1988 must assess suspected breaches within 30 days and notify the OAIC and affected people of eligible breaches.
